Summer Camps 2009
We're proud to announce the return of our KBK Summer Camps, this year we have two camps taking place during the Summer Holidays.
These camps are limited to 20 spaces each - book now to avoid dissappointment!!
KBK Martial Arts Camp - 29th & 30th July 2009 - 10am until 3pm
Children aged 6 - 10 years only - Beginners Very Welcome
This exciting 2 day Summer camp will teach your children all the skills needed to be a tue martial artisit, both physically and mentally. Kickbox Kids is a safe, non contact kickboxing class designed to build fitness, confidence, discipline and courage. We will also teach your child the traditional martial arts values such as loyalty, honesty, respect and humilty.
Our Summer Camps are very popular so we limit numbers to strictly 20 children per camp.
Beginners do you want to be a black belt? Beginners also have the chance to take their first grade!
Each day will consist of focused sessions on Self Defence, Blocking, Kickbing and Punching plus lots of Martial Arts orientated fun and games.
Plus seminars on Stranger Danger, Anti Bullying, Confidence Building and Team Work .
And Demonstrations including - Samurai Sword, Self Defence and Board Breaking
Please ensure each participating child has a packed lunch, drinks and snacks, plus appropriate clothing for indoos and outdoors (don't forget the sun cream)

KBK FILM SCHOOL - Wednesday 19th August 2009 - 10am until 4pm
Children aged 8 - 14 years only - Beginners Very Welcome
This exciting Summer Camp will help budding actors or stuntmen of the future hone their skills in every aspect of Martial Arts film making. We will teach you all the skills you need to perfect your own mini martial arts film which we will make into a short movie for you and your friends to keep.
The day will consist of the following activities:-
Film Acting, Fight Choreography, Stuntman skills, Sound Effects, Story Boarding and Filming.
At the end of the day we will film each three minute mini martial arts movie and record onto DVD for you and your friends to keep (please note the film will need to be edited and put onto DVD so it won't be available on the day, instead it will be posted to you within three weeks).

Classes are mixed groups of children between the ages of 6 and 10 years. Film School students must be 8 or over to take part due to the skills we are teaching. Unfortunately, we cannot accept younger children for insurance purposes. Classes are taught by a qualified, fully insured instructor with enhanced CRB Clearance and First Aid training. If you wish to see the instructors credentials and certificates, please feel free to ask.
