UKMA Krav Maga is an independant Krav Maga and Self Defence group with it HQ based in Tring, Hertfordshire. UKMA Krav Maga was founded by Level 3 Instructor Christopher Allen, who has personally trained with Moni Aizik of Commando Krav Maga and Amnon Maor of Maor Krav Maga Israel. UKMA Krav Maga does not make any claims that our techniques are used by any military organisation. We approach all situations from a civilian's perspective, seeking solutions to "common" self defence scenarios.

UKMA Krav Maga had previously been afiliated with Commando Krav Maga, since January 2010 we decided that we would be able to offer a more flexible and cost effective training opportunity to our students by forming an independant group of clubs.

UKMA Krav Maga training offers a student reality based self defence skills which takes the very best techniques from every martial art and CQB system available and which is why we have retained the term Krav Maga as we feel that this title sums up our approach best.

What can I expect at a UKMA Krav Maga class?

You will PRACTICE REAL LIFE SCENARIOS such as attacks in toilets, the street, local parks, day time, night time, one or more attackers, Knives, guns, threats of violence and much more!

You will LEARN PRE-EMPTIVE STRIKING how, when and where - after all action is quicker than reaction!

You will UNDERSTAND HOW TO DEFEAT ANY ATTACKER, including attackers armed with knives, guns, bottles, baseball bats, etc. In addition, you’ll learn how to control or debilitate your opponent immediately irrespective of size, training background or experience level.

How quickly will I progress?

UKMA Krav Maga teaches a reality based syllabus of self defence which doesn't require any previous martial arts based experience. Most importantly, you’ll see immediate results with our easy to learn reality based training system. The system is based on crucial and straightforward moves that could save your life!

Can I grade in Krav Maga?

UKMA Krav Maga offers training to Black belt level, Instructor level and much more, you will be provided with a syllabus at your first session or you can request a copy of our syllabus by email (the file will be sent in .pdf format).

What is the duration between grades?

At UKMA Krav Maga classes, duration between grades is normally 10 weeks between basic training and student level 1, for all student levels above this the training duration is 3 calendar months

Do you offer instructor courses?

Yes we do, to become an insructor with UKMA you should have at least a 1st degree Black Belt in a suitable stand up martial art or have 3-4 years Krav Maga training experience - contact the office on 0845 094 8805 for more details.

• All participants must complete an enrolment form prior to starting the course. The enrolment form may be requested ahead of booking, we regret that no student make take part without this form being completed and signed by someone over the age of 18. Should you be unprepared to sign the form and have already paid, we will not issue a refund.
• UKMA Krav Maga is part of UK Martial Arts Ltd and we protect our copyright to the fullest extent.
• All participants should not have a criminal record and must be over the age of 14 years, children under 14 may be accepted if accompanied by a participating adult, who will be responsible for them.
• We reserve the right to exclude participants based upon them not having the requirements as specified above or through innappropriate behaviour before, during and after the course, no refunds will be offered under these circumstances.
• All course fees paid are non refundable unless we cancel or move the course to another date
• Krav Maga bootcamps / classes require contact with other students and as such carry an element of risk and whilst we endeavour to offer the safest of classes, students must accept the risks
• UKMA Krav Maga is a fully independant group of clubs, we are not associated or affiliated with any other Krav Maga school, association or governing body.
