Chris Allen,
Chief Instructor of UKMA started this club in July 2005. Over a short space of time, Tring Martial Arts (TMA) grew to become
one of the largest martial arts clubs in the area. We now have regular classes taking place with dedicated beginners, intermediate
and advanced lessons, sparring and Tai Chi, plus regular self defence workshops and courses.
A TYPICAL BEGINNERS / OPEN LESSON
We recommend that you attend classes with sports wear, training shoes, a towel, a drink and some warm clothes for
afterwards. If you feel a particular exercise is creating a new injury or aggrevating an old one, then stop immediately and notify the
instructor.

modern facilities to help you achieve the most from your training with us, including
Hanging Punch Bags
Speedball Station

We also teach Tai Chi at Tring. The style is 24 Step Peking which is a simple form that once practiced and
understood should allow the user to complete in between 4 to 6 minutes.
