Welcome to Tring Martial Arts, the longest established club within UK Martial Arts which meets at The Ridgeway Scout Hall, 37 Grove Road, Tring. For Directions click here. We teach Kickboxing, Self Defence and Tai Chi and currently meet 3 days per week, so there is always an opportunity to train at one of Hertfordshire's premier clubs.
Tring Martial Arts aims to provide fitness and self defence training within the parameters of a recognised style.
We teach a well-rounded and safe Kickboxing syllabus and have full indemnity insurance. Our classes are open to
all ages and abilities so why not come along and take part, spectators are more than welcome!
Parking - The car park renovations were recently completed and now there is ample parking for 14 cars.
Parking overflow - if there is no room in the car park, we may use one side of the Pheasant Inn Pub car park - thanks to the landlord!
On Arrival / Departing - please consider our neighbours and arrive or leave quietly, the hall is located in a residential area.
Class Fee's - all classes cost £5 Juniors and £6 Adults, we have a monthly payments scheme which most students take part in as it offers tremendous savings, speak with the instructor at your first session.

Classes Explained
Beginners / Open
This class is ideal for beginners, but experienced students may also attend for fitness and basic training. This class is of mixed age groups unless specified. If you have no wish to grade you may only attend these classes and / or sparring / solo training.
Intermediate
This class is open to students who hold a White belt or above in our style, only students taking part in our grading syllabus may enter this class. It is a mixed age group class.
Advanced
This class is open to students who hold a Blue belt or above in our style, only students taking part in our grading syllabus may enter this class. It is a mixed age group class.
Sparring / Solo Training
This class is open to students who wish to sparr or compete, a license and insurance will be required. Participation in Sparring is at the instructors discretion.
Solo training - should you not wish to sparr or compete and want some extra training, you may use the equipment during this class for your own training.

Chief Instructor of UKMA started this club in July 2005. With regular classes taking place catering for beginners, intermediate
and advanced students, sparring and Tai Chi, plus regular self defence workshops and courses.
A TYPICAL BEGINNERS / OPEN LESSON
We recommend that you attend classes with sports wear, training shoes, a towel, a drink and some warm clothes for
afterwards. If you feel a particular exercise is creating a new injury or aggrevating an old one, then stop immediately and notify the
instructor.
